Honestly doesn’t take you to any place in the U.K. but that’s not important. My biggest complaint is at no point do I actually feel like I’m in the forbidden forest. We are out in the open and then random caves that aren’t part of the the films or books. I also hate when we go from daytime to nighttime. It’s one of my biggest pet peeves with RSR as well.

You also can’t guarantee what people’s reactions would be when comparing attractions. I get that you’re a fan of this, but that’s a bold assumption to say you guarantee. Btw, in no part am I praising falcon as that was a missed opportunity.

Just cause it’s fun to be devils advocate... does Pirates bother you then? That’s nighttime... pretty sure haunted mansion is also nighttime... Splash Mountain is always day...

The ride itself only takes place in the forbidden forest at the end during the drop track, and the forbidden forest is known for being very dark the further in you get. The section before is the outskirts.

It’s the going in and out of light and dark that bothers me. There’s no extreme build up or anything that leads you to believe we are getting closer to the Forbidden Forest. Just a regular trip and then BAM you’re in a cave that’s somehow the forest. If anything, it’s even more bare right before you enter. Then that painted show building...

I think Hagrids looks pretty cool. I agree on the painted show building. I don’t imagine it would have been that much more expensive to give it some of that rock/ moss theming. Also that creature on the pole isn’t great. Other than that I think it looks awesome.

Don’t even get me started about the mural building...

The only thing truly ridiculous about sports (all of them) is how much they pay the players.
No one, I don't care how talented, needs to become a multi-millionaire simply for playing a kids game.

Also, Star Wars.
No offense to you but my god do i hate this arguement "they get paid to play a kid's game" NOOOOO THEY DO NOT!!!!! Most of these are sports that were create not for kids. sure some kids can play them but not at the level of these athletes can. there is a reason they are called pro sports. i aint paying 100 bucks a ticket to go see little johnny miss a ground ball. this is a horrible and ridiculous argument people use all the time and i am sick of it. and YES they should be paid the millions they do because that is the value they bring to the sport. Kevin Durant sells out arenas and tons of merchandise. he is worth every dollar. sports are entertainment and bring so much to the world. any one can teach kids not every one can shoot like KD.

I’ll bring this back to Star Wars (kind of) ...

I just watched the new Hagrid coaster POV ride through on the USH thread and WOW. Universal is out Disneying Disney at the moment. I was prepared to say about 2/3 through the video that the show scenes were “just ok” but the last show scene takes the attraction over the top. I absolutely love the outdoor sections with all the trees. The ride has a great sense of scale to it. It feels BIG and sprawling.

Sigh- makes me think what they could have done with an Ewok coaster. Well I hope you all enjoy Star Tours .5, I mean the Falcon, instead.
I was very impressed with the coaster. My one nitpick it is there is no true lift hill in the beginning, but other than that it looks fantastic. the coaster seems very very fast and smooth the set themeing on the coaster is great the AA's are really good especially at the end. it looks like one hell of a fun ride.

For me it’s an 8.5/10. I can’t think of anything better and more repeatable than a thrilling (enough) coaster with a great outdoor section and decent to great show sets. If the outdoor sections weren’t so great and well themed I’d probably give it a 7 too.

I don’t think Incredicoaster and Hangrid even belong in the same sentence.
it is a solid 9 from me. it looks great.

Does a professional athlete deserve to make more than a teacher? A first responder? Your doctor? I also feel actors are way overpayed.

What would our society look like if we paid teachers like athletes and athletes like teachers?
