Our favorite lady blogger never disappoints. And fans of 2001: A Space Odyssey will especially enjoy this one.

interesting choice, always appreciate hearing it - tho it's hard to detach the images... thanks, stan

Meanwhile, in Florida...

Here's what the project currently looks like from the air over Disney's Hollywood Studios. Compliments of biorecontruct on the Twitter.

Wow, is it just me or does this seem smaller than DL's version? I mean look how it butts right up next to The Muppets ride!

I'm kidding. I don't even know where the Muppets ride is. LOL
The land isn’t smaller. It just has more surrounding it whereas in Disneyland you have longer walkways going to it. Standing in the middle you likely won’t be able to tell much of a difference at all.

So what you're saying is it won't be smaller, it'll just feel smaller?

I find the WDW version to be egregiously vast and inexcusably small. I can’t believe Disney would just try to cram Star Wars Land into a space 0.00001x the size it was designed for, while at the same time I am immovably convinced of how inarguably larger it is, and that earthen berm obviously has expansion space for three more E-tickets, five hotels, two parking lots, a lake, and an airfield. Oh, and due to crushing space limitations they built the entire Alcatraz ride inside Muppet Vision 3D.

Schrödinger's Star Wars Land is both smaller and larger until you open it!

This dude talking makes Sheldon Cooper's "Fun with Flags" sound like a WWE Cage Match in comparison. Wow. I think I fell asleep in the first 14 seconds.

"And here we see a worker flexing a pole. Over here.... we see a beam being escorted by two workers...."

I eagerly look forward to each installment, especially the inside construction commentary and model-to-construction comparisons. Shoot, when all is said and done, I'd buy a video of the whole series.

Interesting how the SW:GE projects basically look the same on both coasts when Florida's construction stalled for a considerable amount of time after DL's began.
I disagree. I think it's clear how much more of the market place section Disneyland's construction has complete when compared to what DHS has done. Disneyland also has more rock spires, some of which are even covered in cement for the sculpting process.
