Star Wars Celebration was last held in Anaheim in 2015.

The Star Wars gathering celebrates the history of the sweeping space opera saga and looks ahead at the movies, shows, games and comics coming soon to a galaxy far, far away.

The four-day show put on by Lucasfilm includes panels, screenings, exhibits, announcements, celebrity appearances, autograph sessions and exclusive merchandise.

Star Wars Celebration is designed to appeal to young fans drawn to the newer animated television shows as well as die-hard loyalists who have been following the pop culture phenomenon since the original “Star Wars” trilogy.

Expect many attendees to make the trip across Katella Avenue to Disneyland before, during or after the show at the Anaheim Convention Center. The new 14-acre Galaxy’s Edge land that recently opened at the Anaheim theme park is set in the Black Spire Outpost village on the Star Wars planet of Batuu.

At this year’s Star Wars Celebration in Chicago, fans saw trailers for the “Episode IX — The Rise of Skywalker” film, learned new details about “The Mandalorian” live-action TV series and checked out new merchandise coming to the Galaxy’s Edge themed land.

Fans eager to get tickets to Star Wars Celebration 2020 in Anaheim will want to watch StarWars.com and StarWarsCelebration.com for further details.

Advance purchased four-day tickets will cost $195 for adults and $70 for kids 6 to 12 years-old. One-day tickets are $75 for adults and $35 for kids. Tickets at the door cost $10 more. A lottery system will be used to determine access to select panels.

The $900 Jedi Master package includes priority access to the exhibit hall, expo store and panels as well as the opportunity to purchase exclusive merchandise.<<

Missed this years celebration as I'm not a fan of the city of Chicago (mostly its weather).

Excited for Celebration to be back in Anaheim. It'll be interesting to see what panels they come up with now that the Skywalker saga is concluding.

Some guesses:
  • Empire Strikes Back 40th (obvious one)
  • Mandalorian Season 2?
  • VERY early sneak peak at the new Benioff Star Wars trilogy.
  • Some sort of recap panel on the sequel trilogy.
  • Another spin on "The Making of Galaxies Edge"
