Star Taxi

Hi,

I received a confirmation after I booked my Nov. trip.. I noticed that my Town Car was Star Taxi, I did my booking thru my TA thru WDTC, in the past I've always gotten Mears or a rental car.

Has anyone had any experiences or heard of Star Taxi ? Any info about them would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not quite sure what's going on with them, but they used to be part of Transtar. Transtar was a charter company like Mears (but smaller), doing charters and airport shuttles. Unfortunetly, due to 9/11, and a few other reasons, Transtar became defunct. Recently, I've seen a few Star Taxis back in service, so my guess is the company is starting to restructure perhaps. *shrug*
