!st time to Disneyland

Hi all,
I just booked our first trip to Disneyland for next January. I've been to Disneyworld countless times since I was a kid and we're looking for something new!
I love Disney and my parents are DVC owners. They are kind enough to share their points with us every few years! So excited!
I'm looking for tips and tricks, and possible day trip to see around Anaheim
