SSR - Room views

I have been researching this resort since I never thought I would be there. From what I see, there is no options or categories for a "view". It is simply 4 room categories: Studio, 1BR, 2BR, and Treehouse. With that being said, is it just luck of the draw what view you may get?

Correct, although you could make requests, but requests are not guaranteed.

The new foot bridge that takes you across to the MarketPlace Section of DTD (Disney Springs) was right to the left of us!

Your view would be one of the following: golf course, parking lot, pool/lake, or DtD. You don't get a choice of view, but you can request a specific section. We are DVC owners there, and have stayed many times. We always request the Grandstand for a few reasons. It is the first stop to/from the parks, which can be very important in the mornings. We've been on buses that had to completely bypass 1 or 2 stops, since they were already full! In addition, it has it's own quiet pool with both a children's play area, and a pool bar! It is only a short 5 minute walk to the main buildings, pool, and the boat to DtD. You can also walk to the West Side of DtD from the Grandstand as well.
