The Brazilian trailer shows the Lizard getting hit by nothing. The real surprise would be if that’s not a mistake and Miles is in this.

I love that they’re bringing back Alfred Molina… he was such a good Doc Ock.
It could be Miles, but more likely an edited out Garfield or Maguire.

That’s what I meant. The “mistake” being able to see the effect of one of them doing something. The leaked photos of Tobey and Andrew show that set.

I’d be more interested in this if it didn’t have Tobey and Andrew in it but I know I’m a minority. I did like that the trailer seemed to show Electro closer to his comic look.
I guess what I mean is I don’t mind bringing back the characters from the other films but I’d prefer if it is just versions of them from other universes and not the specific other films. I.e. Molina is Doc Oc but not necessarily the same guy in Spider Man 2. I just hate the idea of making other films series canonical to the MCU and having all the baggage/unintended consequences that comes with that.
edit: not to put a damper on other folks excitement. I’m glad a lot of folks are really looking forward to this.

He was a good guy, dare I say hero, at the end of SM 2 when he drowned the giant fireball and saved the city. Seemed to be friends with Parker again as well. The real Otto had returned.
Odd that he would be bad again and angry at SM / Parker. I'm guessing this is all a dream sequence or manipulation by the real villain pulling the strings of this alter reality?

I don't think it was NWH as Keaton said he was filming stuff as Vulture. He did not state what movie. Plus, with No Way Home being less than a month away, I doubt he will appear. I could be wrong, but it just seems a bit too late to film something for a movie that premieres in less than a month.

Keaton's vulture would be terribly anticlimactic for a 6th reveal.
Hardy's Venom would create mass hysteria (in a good way) that would rival the appearance of Luke in the Mandalorian (maybe better).
A new villain would only work if it were Mephisto because his name has been dropped so many times and anticipated.
Kang would be too early.
Mysterio would be overkill in my opinion. I think you really need someone from outside Holland's universe.
Venom's appearance would cause this movie to go over the top in terms of box office hype!

If they're shooting for the ultimate "Wow!" moment in the final battle as far as villain reveals go, I'd guess Venom too. He and Carnage are pretty much The Joker, so to speak, in Spidey's world in terms of fan popularity.
Though I think this is going to shatter box office numbers whether the big bad symbiote appears or not.

They're definitely holding out on something/someone. All the Tobey and Andrew talk and there has been NOTHING about who that 6th villain is. A lot of spec, but no leakages or even rumors.
I mean, it's pretty much a given fact that Tobey and Andrew are in this, but there hasn't even been the slightest hint or clue about the 6th villain. Some don't even think there is one.
