"Spirited"?

Sometimes you don't even have to be an official minion. Just sit quietly, observe, and watch the fun unfold. As Goofyernmost said, his threads and/or posts have a way of taking on this whole otherworldly life...hence Spirited (in my mind anyway).

Don't let these folks fool ya. I stand firm in my belief that those that you least expect to have a real heart that's warm in life in fact DO. The Spirit does. If it appears that the ego fluffs too much, look beyond and question why. Therein lies the good stuff.

I think we have a fundamental difference of opinion of the way you get a point across to most (not all) fans. It isn't by being all warm and fuzzy, especially since a good portion of them (ones who would post on forums like this) have WDW addictions. And, no, while I don't think that's as destructive as drugs, booze, gambling, sex etc, it still isn't healthy to love a company and treat it like a person.

As to meeting, I may have passed by you briefly on 10/1 ... was dark and hard to tell. As to meeting Merf ... well, he scares me. Smart, but so much misplaced anger because he couldn't get hired by WDI. People think I am acerbic
ought to simply chat with him online. A shame because he really is loaded with Disney info ... unfortunately, I think it has taken up too much space in his head.

I didn't see your hands. I did see your face (and I've seen pics you've put up), but I was moving quickly (sorta like salmon going upstream along the WS Lagoon!), but was moving very quickly. Did hear you met my top minion of Disney hate and fanboi angst -- Lee.

He is much nicer than I am, has a beautiful wife (who he left at home as I needed his full attention!) and has an amazing singing voice that he is very shy about!

Geez, for a smart guy you sometimes drop your guard don't you. I think you had better spend the rest of your time making sure that nothing ever happens to him since you have made public your fantasized intentions. Couple that with the fact that you have probably made a number of enemies along the way. Although it's a joke now, if he gets so much as a scratch needing medical attention guess who is first on the suspect list? Then the "Spirit" will be spirited away.

Although I like the virtual/online Spirit just fine, I'm rather fonder of the real life Spirit, for whom I have a great deal of respect... for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with his connections or the inside information he freely provides the Disney fan community.

And no, I'm not one of his so-called minions. First of all, I don't do any minioning for free, and not even the Spirit can afford my hourly rates. Second, there's a height limit to be a minion, and I'm much too tall to qualify...

I think you both seem nice enough and should shake hands and make up. But what do I know? Not much.

I don't know much about all the posters here, but there was only one so far that I noticed was ridiculously arrogant and rude...then he went and edited/deleted all his posts when he found out he was wrong, lol. It was kind of strange.
