Speculation: What happens when things really go south in China?

Sorry if this was brought up before, but with the way things are going in Hong Kong coupled with increasingly heated rhetoric over Taiwan, trade, and just about everything else, things with China aren't exactly getting better by the day.

If things truly go south and a hot war/conflict with China is inevitable, what does Disney do? After so many years under Iger developing a relationship with the CCP and the billions invested in the parks what happens if push comes to shove?

Yes, the chances of this are slim (and hopefully remain that way), but it's always interesting to speculate.

Thoughts?

I wonder this too, there was also worry of this when Trump was starting to put pressure on companies working with China.

I see everything backfiring for the company. Human rights issues of cooperating with China, pollution, sweat shops, etc. All for a company that pretends they are the saints of the world.

People are smart and wising up to the long term impact companies have.

Not just the parks but Film too. Disney may actually have to try and make good live action films consistently again.

Walt's beliefs was
"We don't make movies to make money, we make money to make movies"
This would fly in current times.
Current leadership would've not greenlit Disneyland and instead would instead focus on endlessly making sequels and spin offs to Snow White and Dumbo.
