Yeah songs like Disco Inferno are truly classic. "Isn't I ironic how ironic how you fit in dat thong" "If you be a nympho, I be a nympho" That's modern day poetry....:brick:

Those aren't even lyrics in Disco Inferno. That's still the same lines from Candy Shop. And actually there are more songs on that CD than those 2. 50 Cent put over 20 songs on that CD. It's good to get a FULL CD every once in a while.

The thing about something being overplayed is that it may be bad at the time.
But you may like it again later.

Example. In the 90's , I got the soundgarden "superunknow" cd and loved the song "fell on black days" Then they started playing the song on every radio station and I hated it. Now, it's an awesome song again.

Jay-z makes me mad, but HEY he's been around for a long time.

If you would like me to make a list of Jay Z songs that have the depth of a DMX or 2 Pac, I would be more than glad to make you one. There's ALOT more to him than just Big Pimpin and 99 Problems.

I got a NOFX cd called "45 or 46 songs that weren't good enough to go on our other records". It was like 12.99 or something for a double cd.
But just because there are a lot of songs doesn't mean everyone will like it.

No Destiny's Child is supposed to be Kelly Rowland, Michelle Willams and Beyonce Knowles but it seems like Beyonce is the only one and she isn't that good. Her voice is as annoying as Britney's. all I can say is :hurl:

I used to listen to R&B back when I thought I was cool in JR high or like freshman year of HS. It just annoys me now.

Gwen Stefani's "Rich girl", which has to be one of the most annoying songs in the world, is a remake of some dude's song "If I was a rich man, na na na na na na na na na" Can't today's singers come up with their own songs instead of changing a few lyrics around and making someone else's songs their own grrr....today's music sucks :lol:

Are you serious? I hated that song from the beginning and now I hate it even more now I know that it is a copy. I like Hollaback Girl though! That song is hot.

Frist of all, by far the most OVERPLAYED song in the history of music: "Over and Over Again" by: Tim McGraw and Nelly! It was once a good song until it was played a million times a day.

Eventhough, I love Country and kinda like rap I just thought that was pretty funny.

Gotta agree. I loathe country music with a passion (When you live where I live, you either love it or hate it) but the first time I heard the song on the CD I was surprised. I actually liked it. And the 2nd time I heard it, I liked it more. The 829,485,430th time I heard it, the thrill was gone.

I LOVE THAT SONG! Then again, I like pretty much anything by Lonestar. Oh I got another song I'm kinda sick of: "Mr. Mom" by: Lonestar.... I mean COME ON! It was such a good song too!

the destiny's child girls took a break from the group in order to pursuit solo carreers. everyone has seen and heard beyonce and kelly's careers but Michell is a little less known because she took the time and was in Aida on Broadway (i think).
I know she was on Broadway, Im just not 100% with the Aida show.

Now the girls are back together and touring (oh and i dont like their new song either :lol: )
