Trip Report Somehow I'll make a fan out of you - January 2018 **COMPLETED**

The post-Disney depression has officially set in. Actually, it set in as soon as I took the Tragical Express to MCO.

WHY does departure day exist?!?! Why can't I always be in my happy place!?! Why do I live in a place where the air hurts my skin?!?! Why can't I live in Orlando??

Such is life I guess!! To help cure my Disney blues and to hold me over until my next trip (which fortunately is never too far away), I thought I'd share my travels with all of you

WHO: Myself (Rebecca/Becca) and my boyfriend Daniel

WHEN: January 16th-22nd 2018
WHERE: Coronado Springs and Beach Club
WHY: Long story short, we've been dating for 3 years and wanted to celebrate!

This was Daniel's first trip as an adult (my 16th), he hasn't gone since he was 3 years old. He told me the only thing he remembered was riding Dumbo, so I knew that I had a challenge before me.... so I got inspiration from Mulan and thought to myself...

Somehow I'll make a FAN out of you!!!

I too share a birth year with one of the parks in WDW. It's not Animal Kingdon though... Or Hollywood Studios.... Or Epcot....

We made our way out of Pandora and headed to Pizzafari for dinner, but first stopped for some pretty interesting photo pass pictures..

Then we walked to over to our yummy dinner.
I really miss the old pizza, but the flatbread is still really good

We left and honestly, I was considering just heading back to the hotel. I felt so sick and so tired that I didn't want to be walking around anymore, but it was so early and I felt bad so I decided to just take some meds and tough it out.

We headed toward Africa, just to look around while we waited for our next FP to open up.

I love how genuine it feels. I always get lost in the details and forget I'm in AK. Ugh.

It was starting to clear out a bit so it felt nice to be able to take it slow and not have to worry about people not being able to get around us for walking too slow.

Regarding your PhotoPass shots - too much flash which makes you appear "washed out" - photographer also missed focus on the two of you while backfocused on the rocks and water.

Sorry about your knee, but you gutted through it!

Nice shots of Pandora - it's not the easiest land to photograph.

I can't believe it's already been a month since we came home good thing my Disney blues are going to be cured soon... (PTR coming, whenever I finish this one up)
Day 4 - Friday, January 19th:
Today we had plans to get to MK... all day! They had morning EMH and we were doing the After Hours event, so it was going to be a long day!
I was feeling better today and I had my knee brace on, so I was ready to take on the day!

We stopped to fill up our mugs, as usual. I love when you're on a vacation and you know your way around the resort. It feels like HOME!!!

Ready for battle.. LOL

The security at MK this day was awful!! It took SO long to get through. Like, 30 minutes. It really ate up into EMH time, so we revised our plan of going to Space Mountain first.

Still in Tomorrowland, but a different kind of thrill

We were off to defeat Zurg! Can you guess who won??

Me, duh

Daniel said he was just "warming up" so we went on again

We decided to go back on one last time! While we were in line, we saw Imagineers looking at the building and talking. PLEASE DON'T TAKE MY BUZZ AWAY!

This time, I got something I have never gotten before...

The CM told me they were out of pins, but to just check back later. So off we went! It was almost time for breakfast.

We were having another first... Be Our Guest!!

I have never eaten here and I knew we had an extra QS credit, so why not get the best bang for our buck?

Sorry for the lack of updating - this week has been nuts with school... When's the end of the semester???

So we went over to BOG, but we weren't within the 5 minute window of our check in time. So we went into the gift shop near Gaston's.

This place reminds me of @blgauger and her love for Beauty & the Beast

It still wasn't our time to check in, so we just kinda stood around and people-watched, and took a lot of pictures! It was finally starting to warm up just a bit so I tried tanning my face LOL

Pictures DO NOT do this place justice. Wow. I could not believe how beautiful it was. I want to live there!!! Take me in, Beast!!!

What better way to eat breakfast than to start off with the grey stuff?? Boy, it was delicious!

Soon we were left with this beautiful spread. Daniel got the Feast a la Gaston (I think that's what it's called?? I don't feel like looking LOL) and I got the croissant donut. HOLY. WOW. It was SOOOOOO good. I know people think it's too sweet but you're looking at a girl who drinks Coke with her breakfast. My sweet tooth is insurmountable. Everything was delicious I would eat here again, but only on the dining plan since our total was like $60... for breakfast...

We ate our breakfast and then we walked around because I wanted to see the other rooms. They were all very lovely, but I was happy with our choice to eat in the ballroom

We then headed to it's a small world!

And our names worked!! It was shaping up to be a magical morning.

Spotted our hidden friend... smoking a cigarette?? Cmon people...

Daniel had to drag me past Splash Mountain, CURSE YOU REFURB!!

And onto our next ride! The posted time of 30 minutes held true, but soon we were on the wildest ride in the wilderness!
