perhaps a little too rough...Lights, Motors, Action can open as early as January 2005, Soarin' opens in mid March 2005, and Everest is looking at a possible opening as early as November or December of next year, but certainly by April 2006.

I'm excited that I may be able to experience 3 new attractions when my school goes on our Senior Trip next April: Stitch's Great Escape, Motor Stunt Show, and Soarin'. Hopefully for our next family trip Expedition: Everest will be open. I'll probably plan around that! Anyone have any recent Everest photos with the rock work that ISTCrew20 mentioned???

Stitch and the stunt show SHOULD be open, but I wouldn't hold my breath on Soarin'. Mabey it's just me, but I think the ride has more than 7 months of work left.

no...The Land is closing January 2, 2005-about March 15, 2005 for final changes for Soarin', which will open with the Land in March in time for Spring Breakers. The entire ride mechanism is in place and has been for awhile--they wouldn't have closed the entire building up until that were the case, so theming is all that remains and they are already selecting Cast Members for the opening Flight Crew.

wdwhumanmap is for some reason under the impression that Everest will not open till 2007...whatever...I never understand her...we'll just have to keep the truth about late 2005 "our little secret", I suppose..."friends on the inside"...~cough, cough~

If Everest opens by December 2005, I will never bash WDW construction again. If they can't even have SGE ready by October, and that didn't involve major construction, I doubt they can get something like Everest open by the end of next year. I still think it'll be April 2006.

 I always add six months to the estimates... usually keeps me from getting dissapointed! :) (Seemed like Test Track would never open...) (Hey, but I'd also rather it open late than open wrong)

The thing is that Test Track was a new kind of EMV that could go up to 100 mph (only goes 65) while Expedition Everest is a starndard rollercoaster that contains everything that has been done even in previous Disney attractions.

Everest is really likely to open early.

Even if Sorin' isnt offically opened, you might be there in time for guest sneak previews or the softopening, I was there for the soft opening of Mission Space and I must say the ride was much better then and i waited maybe 10 minutes in the standby line. So keep your eyes open when you go for special preview signs or check back on the forum and see if any CM's have told about special previews open to guests. I'm hoping the Motor Stunt Show will be open by end of January (and I'm sure if they work at a good pace it can be done) for our class trip to WDW. And of course, see how they "stich-ed" AE.

I heard of snow machines and air-conditioning to simulate the cold weather but I don't think it is true.
I am fairly certain there will be snow and completely certain it will be a frigid ride.
