Snack cart in queue

So today I was waiting on line for flight of passage, they had set up a snack and beverage cart and were stopping the line to sell snacks and drinks. Just thought this was a new one and figured it should be posted about

LOL, I believe Gringotts at Universal has something similar on the outside portion of it's queue.

There is a full blown snack counter with adult beverages in the line for Hogwarts express, and it is fantastic!

Interesting. Wasn't there in late November, I wonder if they will just be doing this for the upcoming peak holiday period.

In Cars Land, they've had a snack/ice cream/Coke stand setup in the middle of the Standby line at Radiator Springs Racers since the ride opened in 2012. It's a good idea that I'm surprised has taken Disney so long to embrace more widely.

... and it makes sense thematically since the queues is supposed to by the entrance to a train/subway station. Can't tell from the picture how well this one fits in.

This is perfect. We he several members of our party get out of line to get snacks and stuff. We would have taken advantage of this.

It doesn’t. They were calling it like the Shaman Shaxk or something stupid

I think this is all a bit sad. I remember visiting universal studios Florida when it opened and was shocked that they tried to sell you drinks in queues while Disney had water fountains. Disney make enough money from guests without exploiting a captive audience

I see your point, but you may be relieved to know that there is also a water fountain in line very near where this is set up. So imo they are really just offering more choices for guests. They should add a bathroom though as MisterPenguin suggested.

I think this is a good ideal. I hate getting out of line for a drink for our group, but have done it a couple of times.

My family said a restroom is needed in that queue as much as a snack cart is, perhaps more so.

Glad about the water bottle fill up. I use those a bunch.
After watching several people wash their hands and then one of them literally put their mouth on and around the fountain (like one of those no spill kids cups), I'm done with public water fountains. This was in Epcot this week by the way.

Thanks for this. I used the water fountains a couple times on my August trip. I blame them for giving me Mickeyzumas Revenge. Killed 2 days of my trip.
