I understand he probably saw things he can't talk about, but he really had nothing of consequence to say about Kong. So it figures they'd make it sound like he did.

So according to information I've gathered from this thread, no live actors will be used in this ride. The skull island natives will be on screens in the queue, the drivers of the vehicles will just be voices (someone on here said animatronic when you are viewing the front of the vehicle). So I'm guessing the 3 characters you meet in the ride will be holograms like Christopher walken in the disaster ride or maybe we discover they've been killed. I just want my animatronic King Kong and I'll be happy lol.

I remember reading a rumor in early ride speculation about your driver possibly being grabbed by the Kong animatronic using KUKA arm technology. I thought it sounded like an absolute killer idea if they were able to pull it off. Anybody got any insight whether the effect, or something similar will be used at all??

Actually I think the natives at least are live actors.

Extremely impressed with the information shared by Jim Hill on the Disney Dish podcast regarding Kong. This could very well be Universal's best attraction ever. I was there raising bananas in the air the day KONGFRONTATION closed and I hope to be there within the firs month of the new attraction opening to the public.

i would be surprised if this isn't opened by Memorial Day weekend. My guess is all of April will be spent training the staff for ride operation. i'm sure ride testing is if not constant happening at some point during the day or night. A commercial promoting the ride will probably be filmed before opening. I know they've been keeping the opening date a secret but I don't think the wait is going to be much longer. If there is any indication to this it would be their YouTube channel posting videos about the ride along with the myth explorer mockumentary.
