It's been a while since I've posted! Hello again :)

I'm currently in WDW now (actually waiting for dinner at Chef Mickey's), and yesterday I noticed something at MK..

I saw a lot of construction workers painting some of the blue castle spires silver, and I was wondering if anyone knows why?
It doesn't look too great imo, the blue better suits the gold, but I was wondering if they're doing it as a small thing for the 45th.

It's just an undercoating beneath the blue paint. This always happens before they are painted the traditional blue.

It's an aluminum infused roof coating Like this:

The stuff lasts 7-10 years and they paint the blue right over it.

It's basally like a fancy tar that helps reflect heat and UV so the roof lasts longer. It's very common in commercial applications.
