Shookie Hates Walt Disney World

Only because I'm not there.

So I did the PTR - I did the LTR - Now it's time for the ROTR (Regular Old Trip Report)
Lots of awesome trip reports around here many from the same time I was there so I will
try to keep this sweet and to the point without too much babble.....(that's going to be hard for me).

CM made us some sweet birthday pins and for some reason an anniversary pin......she did such a good job I didn't have the heart to tell her...Our room was ready.

Now onto what was supposed to be our last ride of the day at the MK - Wife and Daughter hate getting wet so the water rides are usually last - No problem Splash is one of my ALL TIME FAVES saving the best for last is ok with me! Everything was fine until we got here:

I was bummed we didn't get to ride splash but it was super cool walking through the (barely functioning to begin with ) laughing place and we did walk away with one of these bad boys:

Since we didn't get wet we decided to walk around a bit before heading back to the resort.
My family is obviously very aware of my Disney nerdness and my son starting getting interested in what I what I would be posting and what we all nerds usually post.
He took my camera and caught on pretty quick even finding a tear in the scrim by the "rumored rapunzel" bathroom area:

Now I know the Wave gets panned but we had a great time last year and we decided to do it again. I realized that the food wasn't bad but the service last year was TOP NOTCH
and that made all the difference in the world...food was good this year but service was sub par..so this year our experience was just eh..no food pics I forgot I was starving...
but I did get a pic of the 3 part gelato desert...it was delicious:

Great report so far! Sucks to be back though, I was literally depressed for a couple of days when I got home. Now there is no other place in the world that would have me feeling like that other than WDW! LOL

Now the question is... Did you book the Bounce Back Offer that was in your room or no?? I really hope you have a trip planned or in the works to help the disney blues! I unfortunately did not have one in my room at POFQ, but I am getting ready to give my deposit for next years trip and it has really put me back in that excited for disney world feeling again, let the countdown begin!!!!!

I did not notice if the Chicken and Rib combo was there...those darn bays...I was in it for burger time.
I asked my wife just now... but her eyes were apparently glued to that half a chicken meal she can't remember.

Haha I can't even tell you how many times we said the whole week that we weren't coming back in September because of the heat and crowds... yeah, it barely rained the week before you were there lol. I think it rained once for 45 mins and the 28th in the afternoon as we were leaving to go home. I am usually a November visitor so I am used to low crowds and perfect weather so November it is from now on!

MK view at Contemporary, sweeeet. hope it works out bub. all that rain was the most I've seen in 5 or 6 Sept/Oct trips. my trips have always been mostly dry with maybe a quick storm. Look forward to reading more dude. And it was great meeting you and the family !!

Doing good here, brotha from anotha motha!! Getting stuff situated for our trip in a week and a half. Definately doing the same thing you did, if there's a bounce back offer, I'm definately planning next year. (Always end of October, weather is great, usually discounts or free dining, and F&W festival!!) That's the best way to beat Post Disney vacations .... plan for the NEXT one!!!
