Sharing a tip for roadtrippers to WDW - Uni toll transponder

My wife and I are presently planning a road trip from Florida to the Northeast, but I know many do it the other way. We have a Sunpass, which works in Florida and a few southern states, but nowhere else.

Well, 5 minutes of research later, and we found out about Uni. It's the only toll transponder that works with EZ-Pass + Sunpass. It's issued by the Central Florida Expressway Authority (who issues E-Pass transponders locally in Orlando), and supposedly works in 18 states natively. The best part, you can buy it on Amazon and get it with Prime shipping.

Anyway, just sharing it for those who have to shuffle an EZ Pass and a Sunpass for their WDW Road Trips.

Update! Used it in FL, GA, NC, VA, and MD over the past two weeks, and it worked like a charm.

The only thing to note is that tolls from outside of CFX roads in Orlando can take up to a week to post. Most took 24-72 hrs, but the ones from the DC Area took a week.

You may want to ditch one to avoid getting double charged - the state of Florida just announced statewide acceptance of EZ Pass transponders.
