Maybe it will go on the main shield, which has yet to be mounted (to the right of the one picture). Maybe.

Wow. I guess that is the only word that is coming to mind here. That's a cool sign and will look even better when everything is finished, but man that is tough for me to look at. They could have at least changed SOMETHING about the old XS-Tech posters. It looks like they just put the poster up over the XS-Tech ones, just like the replacement of bilboards. But there was certainly nothing wrong with doing that, it's just hard for me to look at.

Now if they bring out the SGE sign that is exactly like the old AE sign, and in the same position, I might just loose it . Just kidding.

Kudos to WDI for the interesting sign.

If you really miss the sign that much I'll try to find a way to build my own and then give you instructions to build your own so we can all be one big happy X-S Tech family! :sohappy:

Print out the picture that I hope to be worthy of the Name X-S Tech onto a full page sticker sheet of paper, or normal paper, but be sure to have glue. Cut out the correct shape of the sign with (what else) scissors. Stick/glue the image to a pieve of 1/4th inch foam core. Cut the image attached to foam core of the appropriate shape out of the foam core using an X-Acto knife. Using the X-Acto knife, score the backside of the Foamcore and if you are holding the sign up the right way score it horizontally. If you are holding it on it's side score it vertically. Scoring foam core is when you cut into it about half way down into the foamcore, but not all the way. This gives it the ability to bend. Bend sign into correct slightly bent shape and place where you want. Voila! You now have your own piece of Tomorrowland History (unfortunately it's history  ) :D . Enjoy!

My guess is that it is just a temporary fix to remove the X-S Tech logo prior to adding the final Stitch decor.

Actually, there hasn't been a shield there for at least a few weeks. Granted, it could just be the old shield with a new overlay, but the old x-s tech logo had already been removed :).

Sorry, I am not overly thrilled about or anticipating this ride. I finally watched Lilo and Stitch the other day thinking it is Disney, I will be somewhat interested. However, I did not find that same appeal that the other movies have that seem to lure you in. Can someone put Lilo and Stitch in a different perspective so that I can relate to the adoration this movie/characters get? I really want to be happy about the new ride, but it does not seem to be working on me.

Don't think about Lilo and Stitch as "Ok, everyone loves this movie, I have to find out why so I can like it", watch it like you were watching any other movie. "This movie looks good, I wonder what the plot and the theme is." Then you will appreciate it. There are also some pretty funny charac ters along the way too, which really make the movie that much brighter. And hey, nobody says you HAVE to like the movie.

Thanks for the advice. I will try watching it again so I will appreciate the upcoming SGE changes when I visit again although SGE probably will not even have the soft opening when we are there, but maybe for next time. :)

How could you not feel for the characters? Lilo was an "outcast", didn't have any friends, just lost her family...her sister was struggling with everything and the one thing she wanted more than anything...(her little sister) was falling out of her reach. Lilo just wanted one thing in her life...a friend...someone she could rely on...someone she could talk to...someone she could relate to...to help her cope with the loss of her parents. Then comes Stitch...who she falls in love with right away. Stitch also didn't have any "friends"...everyone he knew wanted him "gone." Stitch grew to "feel" for Lilo and wanted the same things that Lilo wanted..."SOMEONE." Sure, Stitch is a little "rough around the edges" but wouldn't you be if you had nothing? No reason in life...no reason to love...no reason to exist. Lilo was a little rough around the edges too...because she only had a sister...who she thought didn't want her because she was too much of a burden on her.

Throughout the movie you see that Lilo realizes that her life isn't all bad once Stitch comes into her life. Stitch truly has nothing...not even a name! Lilo became the "parent" who teaches Stitch that there is a reason to live, laugh, and love.

I think the characters appeal to a lot of people because everybody (at one point in their life) has been down in the dumps...and needs a "figure" to relate to...Stitch and Lilo are those figures. Kids love Stitch because (boys like him because he looks like a monster and girls like him because he's "cute" at the same time  ) he gets into trouble a lot!

I dunno...that's my take on it :)

Thanks, wdwfreak. That was an excellent interpretation of the movie. As I said, I will give it another chance. Maybe this time I will watch it without the two year old who was completely uninterested and was screaming to put in Monsters Inc. instead. She kind of took away from it for all of us. Monsters Inc is her latest stage after 50 times of Finding Nemo.
