Saturdays In October

What are weekends like in October? We're arriving Friday Oct. 3 this year and I was wondering how busy the parks are on the weekends. If anyone could help, that would be great!

great time of the year to go.....slow all month, BUT the MK will still be crowded on Sat, plus in OCT they run Mickeys not so scary halloween parties, so make sure you take advantage of that, it provides great access to all the pest rides at the MK, without the crowds. It sells out fast, so buy it in advance.

just DONT go to MK on sat, and you will not experance crowds at all.....

in Fact NEVER EVER go to the MK on a SAT anytime of the year. It is almost twice as busy then mid week during the off season, and its the busiest day of the week during the season. Mondays are the next busiest. Then sundays and fridays.

We went to MK on a Saturday last October (that was the only time Spectromagic was on the schedule during our visit) and it was extremely crowded, especially around parade time. We were expecting light crowds and were shocked at the number of people there. I think it took us close to an hour to catch a bus back to the resort at closing time.

And Epcot the next day (Sunday) wasn't very busy at all.

saturday + MK = insanely large crowds! :hammer:

Go to another park, any other park on saturday. Just stay away from MK.

I made this mistake back in Oct 2001 and went on a saturday. I figures after 9-11, people weren't traveling, crowds would be light. Boy, was i wrong. I have never seen it that crowded.
