Saratoga springs first time there

The two Preferred sections are The Springs (across street from main pool and dining area) and Congress Park (closest section to Disney Springs). Congress Park building 11 would be the closest to the walkway to DS. Of the three Springs buildings, 35 & 41 are a little closer to the pool and dining than building 31.

What buildings r the best for preferred rooms?
Yup look at @JaxFLBear map. So it depends, if you want to be closer to the Disney Springs and maybe a little quiter area try Congress. But if you want better access to the main pool, and resort amenities go for the Springs section. Personally I would lean towards Springs as the main pool is very nice and it's good to be close to the QS. You are close to the boat launch too. Just ask for one that has a water view so you don't end up with the parking lot.

They are not considered preferred, but the Grandstand buildings 8500-8800 are very close to the main pool, restaurants, and the boat DS. They also have a pool and bus stop right outside their doors. We found it the perfect location.

We prefer any of the buildings in Congress Park. The location is an easy walk to the main area of the resort and the closest area to Disney Springs. The Grandstand would be our second choice.

Plus it is the first bus stop which was big for us. We were the first off and the first on in the morning. You could also walk to the main lobby in 5 min and catch that bus if you don't want to wait for the bus to drive all the way around the resort (we did this when leaving late morning to a park)

We just spent two weeks at Saratoga. We were also first timers. It’s definitely a different experience. Be prepared to walk. The resort is extremely spread out. Also if you plan on using the pool be ready to fight for a chair. We stayed in the paddock rooms were very nice and we did get housekeeping service just about every day even though we weren’t suppose to. we didn't care for the food options at the resort as they are not on par with some of the other resorts. Overall it was nice but not sure will stay there again.
