Saint Paddy's Day?

The family and I will be at WDW for Saint Patrick's Day, and were wondering if there is anything special planned. I haven't seen anything listed on the official site, but thought I'd ask. Our tentative plan for that day was to do Epcot (just because it worked out that way, not because it's St. Paddy's).

Anybody heard of anything going on?

We went about 10 years ago on St Pat's Day. The only thing I remember was that they had a party at Pleasure Island. I don't remember them doing anything else. But that was quite a while ago, I know someone can give you a more up to date report.

I think the UK has green beer available, but I'm not sure.

If you're a pin collector tho, look for a special St. patrick's Day pin early in the day. They tend to have a limited number of special holiday pins at each park.

Thanks for the info. It sounds like about what I was expecting, but you never know what kind of fun stuff might be going on.

green beer is available at the Rose and Crown (but i was like 17 or 16 so green sprite for me...
that dye messes with you the next day though LOL (dont worry i dont mean you get sick)

St Pat's Day last year was fun, but I didn't look for the St P pin until 11:00, and it was already sold out. I was bummed the whole day. But there's always a cut new beanie out. There was something going on, it seems, but I can't remember. Everyone seemed especially festive. Wear green!
