Rumor - Lights of Winter coming back to Epcot?

Inquisitr and the site that shall not be named is reporting that the Lights of Winter which was performed during the Holidays up until 2008, could be coming back to Epcot. Per a pin with Mickey and Minnie on it which has the old lights on it. I will take this with a grain of salt unless this rumor gains more steam.

Sounds far fetched to me, but it would be pretty messed up for them to feature LoW on a pin this year without bringing it back. I'm not buying it, unless maybe Peter Quill enjoyed the lights back in the day.

Would be great if they came back. EPCOT seems incredibly bland around the holidays without them. Also, the "obsolete technology" reasoning always seemed like some grade A bull.

Pretty flimsy evidence. They aren't even "Lights of Winter" pins, they are Christmas character pins with something in the background that looks like Lights of Winter.

Honestly this is probably nothing more than a "dead" attraction t-shirt, but in pin form. They know we will buy our 1000 leagues shirts, horizon hats, and Mr. Toad bumper stickers why not a pin with and obscure reference to a dead Christmas light show? They already sell pins with pieces of wands and other destroyed parade floats.
