Romaine lettuce is unsafe to eat in any form, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Tuesday in a broad alert in response to a new outbreak of illnesses caused by a particularly dangerous type of E. coli contamination.
The CDC told consumers to throw away any romaine lettuce they may already have purchased. Restaurants should not serve it, stores should not sell it, and people should not buy it, no matter where or when the lettuce was grown. It doesn’t matter if it is chopped, whole head or part of a mix. All romaine should be avoided.

This is relevant to this thread... MANY WDW Restaurants serve Romaine based salads.
During the last Romaine panic, I asked Shula's, C Grill, and others about this....

WDW will not publish or affirm that, on a random basis (note RANDOM), they test incoming food supplies. Can NOT blame them. To make this public would imply liability. So, if in doubt? ASK your Restaurant MANAGER if any Romaine on the menu has been examined on arrival.

Folks, this is a SERIOUS EColi Strain, that can attack Kidneys. The very odd thing? MOST Romaine, right now, is still coming from CA - NOT AZ. Just a GUESS.... at the least? Avoid all Romaine sourced from the Western States, or Mexico. SOME Romaine is native to FL.
