I just read about 2 Rocket Launches (Weather Permitting) that will be happening during my time I will Be out in Walt Disney World..

Feb. 3: Atlas 5 • GPS 2F-12
Launch window: 1349-1408 GMT (8:49-9:08 a.m. EST)
Launch site: SLC-41, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida

Feb. 7 Falcon 9 • SpaceX CRS 8
Launch time: Approx. 2100 GMT (4 p.m. EST)
Launch site: SLC-40, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida

What I'm wondering is...How viewable is the launch from The Resort? This is something I would really like to see unfortunatley I won't be getting a rental so I figured it might be viewable where I am staying most of the time...

The view from property is fair, but you need extremely clear conditions.

It is nothing like the view you would get from Kennedy or Space View Park. You will see a glowing dot and a smoke trail and that is about it. Night launches are a little better for viewing from such a distance.

We were at California Grill during a launch back over the summer, and were able to see it from the roof of CR.

Yep visible as a vapor trail mostly. Rooftop of Disney Springs parking garage can work well.

Last summer, we were at the airport waiting for our flight home when there was a launch planned. We were able to get on to the roof of the airport and watched, it was kind of cool, all we really saw was a bright orange dot for a few seconds, then it was obscured by the clouds.

It was too bad that it wasn't earlier in the morning, since it was the day we returned from the Disney Dream, and you can see the launch pads so clearly from the port.
