Wow I am so sad.

I bought the great book a couple of years ago and have been following the disney and more page for years.

He always had great insights and the latest rumors.

RIP

Great Scotts. Well, I think the site will be closing soon then. It was a good run, and I always enjoyed going there. I am glad to have bought the DLP book a couple years ago, a bit of support for his work.

Oh no! I wondered why his site hadn’t been updated in awhile. So sad to hear of his passing. I always enjoyed his site and his articles.

Anyone know if he was a corona virus victim?
According to Imagineer Eddie Sotto's twitter it may have been unexpected heart failure.

I am really saddened and shocked to learn of this.

Alain was the finest and most consistent independent curator of artwork, histories, interviews, etc. of the art of theme park design that I've come across. I've really appreciated and enjoyed his posts and his book for a decade or longer. His absence will leave a major void in world's regularly-updated content focused on the art history of the industry.

You will be missed, Alain.
