I'd really prefer that money be spent on general upkeep. The overall effort on this has seemed to have slipped in this area in the past few years. I really think Disney is spreading itself too thin. Too many resorts, parks, etc. at WDW. Things really suffer when there is an economic downturn like we're seeing now.

Small World needs a major update. So does Jungle Cruise. Maybe on small world they could speed up the ride and add some dips and change the song. maybe with the little american children they could rap, and do some hip hop and some pop and a little rock while some of them are breakdancing and doing the wave. that would help.

It wouldn't help our country, that's for sure... :(

SE is one of my favorite rides and it upsets me when you hear the clicking of the wheels on the tracks over the narration. And the rides consant stopping upsets me so SE got my vote.

Yeah, what is with the constant stopping? I don't remember that before, but our last visit in February, the ride stopped at least twice! What gives?? :(

All of those attractions need some attention because many of them have fallen into disrepair but the one that needs the most attention is the Living Seas. The movie is boring after you see it once and there aren't very many hands on stuff in there anymore. Disney used to be famous for involving the guest into the story and making them apart of the magic and it seems to me they have stoped doing that. Good example, Hesters and Chesters and don't give me "it's supposed to looklike that" because themeing something to look cheap is easy and stupid not up to Disney's level. Disney used to raise the bar now they are lowering it with neglect of their attractions and imagination.

For those who are unaware...

SE and all omnimovers (past and present) are programmed to stop whenever someone gets out of a ride vehicle.

I've had the ride slow down a few times, that is for a slow load or unload.. but I have also experienced a full stop. You know, where all the breaks kick in at once and everything sort of jolts... That's because someone got out.

IMO - Disney should have a strict policy on jumping out of rides. Escorted from the park and banned for 30 days sounds fair.

the living seas needs on desperatley... the ride could be so cool if they put some money into it, incorporating a thrilling ride and the aquarium aspects, maybe a ride like journey into the center of the earth in Disney Sea.

dont you think thats a little harsh especially with young children or someone who might freak out... i know it sucks when your on the ride, but in retrospect its not that bad.

If only you knew first hand jsut how often it happens, and the CMs can tell when a child or adult "freaks out." Some people really jsut think they can exit a moving vehicle.

I'd love to see a TTA update: new cars, new scenes along the route (but keep the original EPCOT model), and an entirely NEW spiel....but there isn't really a need for this so it will probably never happen

My vote goes to Star Tours. The simulator is old and doesn't seem like you are going through an adventure in space... and i am comparing it to new technology!

i think anyone bashing star tours should rethink their decision. Yes it would benfit to an update, but in comparison to other simulators out, not comparing to SPiderman or something like that, but most simulators, its still light years above any of those.

I dont know if they still have it, but about 8 years ago they had a simulator for Back to the Future at Universal. I remember that being way cooler than star tours!

(sorry disney!)
