    Hey y'all,

I'm staying at AoA in about 10 days. My partner's an Apple employee, I'm a former Apple employee, and the big iPhone keynote's on the 12th, while we're there. We're gonna wanna watch it after coming back from the parks that day.

Do the Resort TVs have like, apps? YouTube and whatnot? And in lieu of that, are there HDMI ports that we can plug our laptop or tablet into, provided we have the right cables? Thanks in advance!

The resort TV service is Direct TV satellite, channels only no apps.

The TV has an HDMI port.

Just use your laptop or iPad.

If it's got an HDMI port I'm golden. I don't really wanna watch an hour and a half/two hour long video on my iPad if I don't have to.

    Apple TV ;)

Let me know how it works.... I have had issues downloading iTunes content from AoA before... almost like it is rate limited. I have never attempted streaming.

just a warning, I brought an HDMI cable down before and connected it to my iPad, and the internet was slow, so watching videos often had a lot of lag.
