I'll be requesting a crib for the first time from Disney. Their website says quantities are limited but has anyone ever requested a crib and be denied recently? I just want to get a feel for the situation and if I need to rent one from a 3rd party. Thanks!

Honestly, if it’s essential to you then I would rent one.

I’ve requested the past two trips and it was never there in our room upon arrival. We had to call the front desk and it came swiftly. It was a pack n play instead of a crib both times, which was fine. I will say, the padding on those things were not great, but the CM used extra blankets to make it better. (This was for babies over a year… if for really little ones, I would not advise doing that). Hope this helps somewhat.

We've requested cribs a number of times at different resorts and have never been denied. We've also not had it in room upon arrival and had to call the front desk for them to bring it up. It is always a pack and play at Disney, and they usually offer to set it up for us.
One tip - I always bring a crib sheet from home to use because (totally an opinion here) I think it helps my kids sleep better being on a familiar feeling/smelling/looking surface. Good luck!

For parents who are super into the rules and regulations of "safe sleep," you're not supposed to do this. The hotel cribs are not standard sizes and a home crib sheet is too big and doesn't meet the standards.

That said, I do the exact same thing you do and have no worries about the safety.

If you get the portable/compact crib, keep in mind they are not a full sized crib. They were always requested at check in for me, and I asked for a crib and not a pack n play specifically without issues. However I do suggest renting if important or if you want a full sized crib.

Thanks for all the responses! We are perfectly fine with a pack-n-play. Our daughter will be 17 months when we go and she's able to sleep in one of those. Much appreciated!!

Disney used to have Pack-n-Plays in every room, but they changed that after COVID. We had to call for one, but it was delivered to the room very promptly.

We are renting a crib from Kingdom Strollers this year mainly to avoid this. Our son is 2 and will not comfortably fit in a pack and play anymore.

This was the crib that we received staying at Bay Lake last Oct. for our granddaughter.
Sorry for the txt on the photo, it was off of my daughters IG post!
To give you an idea of size, she was 10 months old in this pic.
