Do you have an approximate time frame? I will make a special trip to see this 1 more time in the old building.Expect a new Pioneer Hall.

STOLport. I think WDI put offices there around the time of Fantasyland expansion. What’s the site behind WL, bottom right in that photo?

I'm assuming this will have trails connecting to WL. Would make a nice hike/bike/running trail.
Here is Stolport in 2002 when it could potentially still be used as a landing strip.Wow! I had no idea that even still existed, in any form. Do you know if the landing strip is still potentially useable? I know it’s not registered for use any more.
Like any runway, they can go a long time without maintenance since they're so overbuilt. But yes, it was decommissioned decades ago. If it didn't have trucks/trailers/cars all over it, sure you could probably land a smaller plane on it (like really small private turbo prop, and that's pushing it) if it was an emergency situation. Then again, most would look for a highway, parking lot, or some open field.Wow! I had no idea that even still existed, in any form. Do you know if the landing strip is still potentially useable? I heard that upon landing the ridges in the runway will cause the tires to 'sing' out "When you wish upon a star". Kind of neat, one of those special only-disney-would-think-of touches.Like any runway, they can go a long time without maintenance since they're so overbuilt. "Musical Roads" can be found all over the place...I heard that upon landing the ridges in the runway will cause the tires to 'sing' out "When you wish upon a star". Kind of neat, one of those special only-disney-would-think-of touches.

It is just a myth. At most there was just some testing/demonstration for cars after the runway was decommissioned.I’d love to know if that’s true. I always thought it was a myth that’s grown up since it was decommissioned.
Yeah, they don't hold up well even in mostly dry conditions, even worse in adverse weather areas. The one in Tijeras, NM fell apart in less than 2 years and was mostly paved over.
Reflections is going to have the 2 person studios like Riviera.
