Almost looks like the main part of the old RC is maintained as a pool area...wonder if the name will be revived as a "water park" serving this particular hotel. The two pool areas look to be much larger/complex than what is included at other resorts. I admit I may be looking at the drawings incorrectly.

Its a bit sad how much space will be taken up by parking. Why not have a car park further away with a bus shuttle. Just to me that really takes away a lot of the woodland. But then when at Wilderness Lodge, once at the resort and inside you don't really notice the massive car parks.
Transit in America is defined by the automobile. Everything is built around it. As such, the infrastructure to support cars is immense. Which is truly unfortunate, when it comes to parking lots and vast, vast fields of grey

Anyone have an idea just how all the guest vehicles will get to that massive parking lot? I can't imagine they'll all drive down Timberline, through the WL gate and then the service road?

Wilderness Rd. doesn't look like it's just service road. Google Earth shows a bus (or truck) on it. It should be able to convey cars.

I'd be interested to know what percentage of Disney guests drive vs. fly and shuttle/taxi.

Happy and sad.....I expect it won't have any of the charm the well worn existing on has and they'll screw up the Hoop Dee Do with too many additional tables so they can sell more tickets.
The scarier thing is how the past shows I've done haven't been sell outs either. I was able to buy tickets hours before the show in any of the seating areas.

We all know what'll happen if they add more tables and not sell out said tables... say hello to the Frozen Western adventure!

Edit: Hoop is easily one of my favorite things to do on property. I'd hate to see it go away for any reason.
