Refillable Mug length of stay question with dining plan

I was wondering if I get the dining plan at pop for 2 nights before we stay at DVC with family for 4 nights and not get the dining plan with the family, can I still use the refillable mugs or will it expire at the end of our first stay?

They will expire, but you can still use them for some things like coffee, hot chocolate and water.

Based on our recent trips, the mugs will work for either 10 or 14 days after they're activated. We've done two split stays recently, and had the DDP on at least the first part of both trips. Our mugs worked through the entire trip.

Refillable mugs will work for 14 days after first use.

Never mind, the responses above are correct, they recently-ish changed the system. You'll be fine.
