Random Disney Magic or a regular occurrence?

This was from our most recent visit a few weeks ago. The location is the side of the Hall of Presidents. I don't know if a cast member saw my daughter and decided to make a little impromptu puppet show with the doll, or if this is something they regularly do. Either way, my daughter was delighted and it gave us a nice memory. Kudos to the unseen cast member who put on this little show.

Anyone else have a similar story?

I have never seen that before or have seen it reported by anyone else before. Everything about Disney is now being recorded, reported, posted by the daily park goers who try to outdo each other. If this was something Dis is doing regularly it certainly would have been put out for the masses to view.
CM's do a fabulous job especially for the young kids to make their day special. They don't get the recognition they deserve when they do something their job description doesn't call for. I don't believe the mgt gives them permission to do what they used to do.

True, if this was something the cast members did all the time, there would be an army of vloggers waiting by the window for the doll to appear.

From what I understand; in colonial times, people would put a doll in the window to notify rescuers that children were in the house. Like if there was a fire. If the CM animated the dolls movement for the child, "Disney Magic"!
