Kat, I just had the craziest day revolving around restaurants.
My sister and I went to a mall we go to often. It is undergoing a major renovation and we found that the Houlihan's we liked there has closed for good. We decided then to go to our second favorite restaurant there, Bertucci's, which was located right outside the mall, only to find that it was demolished as part of the renovation. So we left the mall area and drove a short distance to another restaurant we both like...and found that, too, had been demolished. :hammer: We drove around for a bit and found an entirely new shopping center we didn't even know existed. We ate in a restaurant there called Brio. It was very good. Then we had dessert at The Cheesecake Factory. So it all ended well! :D
Since when did they demolish Bertucci's? :lookaroun

Wow! What an adventure! Good thing you ended up with something you liked.

I have a feeling our options would be Logans Roadhouse, Cracker Barrel, Azuka (a hibachi place) or a Turkish restaurant.

What's everyone doing for dinner? I think my parents are taking me out and I don't know what sounds good...

Well, I just put a chicken casserole in the oven. :slurp: I think tomorrow I'm making rolls for breakfast and baking muffins for Friday's breakfast on the road (:sohappy:), but otherwise, I think we're picking up sandwiches for lunch and ordering pizza for supper. I'm ready for a break from cooking. :D

Ooo! I think of all my options, I'd rather go to your house.

I love chicken casserole, but have never made one myself... what do you put in yours?

I use those no-yolks casserole noodles, add a can of cream of chicken, chicken pieces (of course) and some cubed Velveeta. Sometimes I toss in some frozen peas...I use frozen instead of canned so they don't get too mushy. Serve it with applesauce and dinner rolls. :slurp::slurp:

Exactly! Though, this one if a good 5 miles off the interstate!

Did I tell you I tried boiled peanuts for the first time (talk about Southern...) :slurp::slurp:

'kay...that doesn't sound so good to me. How about fried green tomatoes?

Honestly, we're probably going to eat at a Cracker Barrel Friday night. There's one right next to our hotel, I think.
