Expanding and refurbishing Walt Disney World Bars since September 2015.
Our starting location in the untapped potential of Walt Disney World Bar locations start around the Monorail Loop at one of the top hotels at Walt Disney World Resort - Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
The bar: Pleasure's Hideaway will be constructed at one of the busiest areas outside of the main lobby in the resort. Pleasure's Hideaway will be connected to the Narcoossee's building. Nearby are the buildings of Sugarloaf Key, Conch Key, and Boca Chica - as well as the boat dock to the Magic Kingdom and the resort's boat rentals. And to really add in attendance, it's just a stonethrow away from the courtyard pool.
This bar is to really get away from the usually busy lobby and have a relaxing specialty bar for resort guests and an out-of-the way retreat for convention guests. Especially for guests coming back from the boat docks from the Magic Kingdom, or staying in the nearby buildings (Most of which, guests are paying a premium for theme park views, or concierge service). This also allows guests waiting for their table at Narcoossee's to have a drink or relax at Pleasure's Hideaway before or after dinner.
But, that doesn't mean you won't see non-resort guests come over before a dinner reservation or just to take in the themed area because this bar has a lot to offer for the Monorail loop.
Starting with the backstory, "....after years of the strong waves from the Seven Seas Lagoon hitting the shore, a large area of sandstone had formed near the building of Boca Chica at the Grand Floridian Resort. When one of the investors of the resort, named Merriweather Adam Pleasure, Explored the Sandstone and found a cave inside with amazing Floridian Aquatic Life.
Insisting that this is an amazing experience for Resort guests, Pleasure had put fourth funding toward a spectacular bar to pair with the menu at Narcoossee's. Soon, the sensational bar opened and Pleasure's Hideaway has been entertaining guests with it's scenery and Pleasure's signature bar drinks since."
