Jed Clampett/Barnaby Jones died on Sunday.

Didn't know until I was reading his bio this morning that he was supposed to be the Tin Man in the Wizard of Oz, but he was allergic to the aluminum paint and had to back out.

Also had a Disney connection with Davy Crockett (Fess Parker) back in the 50's.

Another Disney connection...he was the "model" for the "Dancing Man" of Walt's

Loved him when he danced....seemed like he was a live jointed skeleton. I remember seeing an interview with him on his 90th bdy. It really broke his heart when he had to drop out of OZ...he knew that it would be BIG. It seems like we are losing sooo many of the great ones lately.
