quick question about DCP

Hi -
I'm a freshman in college and new to the message boards.
I was just wondering if anyone knows about how competitive it is to be accepted into the College Program. It's something I've been planning on doing for several years, and will be applying for the Spring '03 program. I've sorta scheduled a lot around getting in (i.e. classes, housing, etc.), so I really hope I make it!

Getting in can be pretty tough. There are about 2000 spots for CPs. Going to over 350 schools with lots of interviewees = competitive.

I just got turned down for a summer only CP for alumni only. I had great reviews from my management and I didn't get it. I am also a campus representative, that doesn't really affect the decisions.
