We are headed to WDW on January 30th and this will be our first trip using the Deluxe dining plan! We opted for the dining plan upgrade because we are having 2 sit down meals a day, many of which require 2 table service meal credits. I realize this is A LOT of food but Disney restaurants are a big part of the vacation for us. However, by my count we will each have 2 remaining table service credits by the end of the trip. I have read about people using their quick service meal credits at the end of a trip to purchase 3 snacks for the trip home. I realize this is counter intuitive to saving money but if we still have a table credit remaining at the end of our trip, can we use this the same way a quick service credit can be used for 3 snacks? Has anyone had any experience with this?
