Does anybody know what's the standard rates for the Theme Park View-Tower Club Suites on the 14th Floor of the Contemporary? I can't seem to find any rates no matter how hard I try to Google for it. LOL. For anybody that's stayed in one of the Suites, how was the difficulty in getting them? Was the experience better or similar than staying at the Atrium Club Level on the 12th Floor? I'll appreciate any info you guys can give me, the more info, the better for me. :)

According to AllEars, the suites range in price from $1066-$3046 per night plus tax. AllEars used to break down the nightly rate by season, but since Disney now has so many rate categories, AllEars has opted to give range prices.

In comparison:
MK tower rooms (non club) $547-$730
Atrium Club standard $655-$928
Atrium Club lagoon $707-$990

You can find more info here:

Since the suites are so outrageously expensive, I'm not sure if you will find any WDWMagic folks who have stayed in one :jawdrop:!

Thanks Tuvalu, I really appreciate it and yeah, they're expensive as hell. LOL. I plan on calling them to see how much it would cost for my trip in October. Can't hurt right? Is it possible to stay in a Tower Club suite for say two nights and then change to a standard Atrium Level Theme Park View room for maybe five more nights, if available?

European Plan means the rate includes the room only, not meals. American plan includes meals. This is not Disney speak, it is Hotel industry terminology.

Thanks. I'm not in the hospitality industry and I guess I don't travel much. I never heard that before.

Another question guys, if you made a one night Room Only reservation and you want to add 2 more nights to that reservation, would you have to pay another deposit? Or will it be as normal where you pay what you can pay monthly until your due date?

Room only reservations require one night's deposit. So if you stay only one night, you pay the full cost when you book. If your stay is longer than one night, you pay one night as the deposit and the balance is not due until you check in.

So in your case, if you are able to add nights to an existing reservation, you do not need to pay anything else until you check in.

However, if the exact room
category/discount is not available to add to an existing reservation, then a new reservation will have to be created which will require another deposit.

Well guys, I did it, I was able to get a 1BR Theme Park View Tower Club Suite on the 14th Floor. I actually used your advice Tuvalu so thanks again for the tip. So my itinerary is like this: 10/17 - 10/20, me and my girl will be in a Theme Park View Atrium Club room and from 10/20 - 10/25, we'll be in 1BR Theme Park View Tower Club Suite. I thought I needed to upgrade to them but I found out in other forums that I had to call a certain phone number to reserve the Suites at the Contemporary. I was shocked out of my mind when the CM said there's availability for the 1BR Suites & Theme Park View no less, the magic of Disney and some luck was in my favor. I gave the CM a couple of room number requests and they said they can't guarantee nothing, which I understood. But question about that, I read in various places that its not cool to request specific room numbers, why is that anyway? I told the CM that i wanted us as close to the Magic Kingdom as possible. What should I request when I do the Online Check In in August? Which box should I click on?
