For any of you who have done this without the package, just using your annual pass, how much can one enjoy it? I know package purchasers get special events and things, but there are film cast events that say annual pass members can attend on a first come basis. Have you been able to get into those events?

We did it 2 years ago while we still had our AP's and we didn't have a hard time enjoying the event w/o the package. That being said, the AP offerings were limited: they had a special AP roped-off section in front of the stage and a separate line into the expo. However, because so many of the attendees were AP's, there wasn't room in that corral for some of the presentations and the AP line into the expo was consistently long.
