President's Day (week) at Disneyland

Hi folks -

We'll be visiting DL for the first time during the week of Feb. 17. I've heard that the local schools may have some time off during that week. Needless to say, I'd like to try to avoid the park on these days if at all possible.

Does anyone here have any knowledge of the schools and/or expected crowds during this time? It would be greatly appreciated.

expect heavy crowds February 14-17. The Disneyland Resort has extended hours accordingly. Expect the 15th and 16th to be the worst, but Saturdays are ALWAYS packed at Disneyland Park (the park is open 8a to 12a Saturdays throughout the Spring, so it's always packed then due to locals)
