Martinique 25 or 26 are closest to OPR and the main pool.

My vote would also be for Martinique 25. That was our go-to building before they introduced the Preferred booking category.

We have an upcoming preferred room reservation at CBR, as well.

We've requested (via the online check-in menus) Martinique village. Preferred rooms in Martinique are in buildings 24, 25 and 26. Buses generally move clockwise around the resort beginning in Jamaica or Martinique, meaning Martinique will always get picked up/dropped off just before the busy Old Port Royale stop (with Trinidad North getting picked up right after Old Port Royale). Since we'll be relying on Disney bus transportation, we thought we'd rather opt for the village that would give us a better chance of getting a seat on the bus, before it becomes standing-room-only or fills up completely, even if it means spending a few more minutes on the bus when heading out to a park.

Update: we were assigned a building in Trinidad North (the other "preferred" location) instead of Martinique, and had no trouble at all with bus transportation. In fact, the buses at CBR -- despite the fact that it has more internal stops than any other resort -- ran more frequently than anyplace we've ever stayed, moderate or deluxe. Despite my concerns about buses filling up, we never had to stand on the way to a park (although we frequently did on the way back from parks). We'd stay at CBR again -- in any village, preferred or not -- in a heartbeat.
