Possilble Fairy Meet and Greet Area

See the Mickey M&G on main street. One character in several rooms. The FL version could have 2 characters in 4 rooms or 4 in 4 or any sort of combination. It could even vary from day to day or be changed to meet demand depending on the market. There is a ton of flexibility built in and I doubt a final decision has been made this early.

But with face characters? That seems like quite a sticky situation if a child happens to be coming back around a second time to a princess that should remember them. However, I will say that I'm not familiar how these M&G's work.

And if they were to only have 2 princesses, why those 2?

Personally, I'm thinking that the multiple rooms in the Princess Fairytale Hall will each house one of the confirmed princesses and some of their respective co-stars.

An example of what I mean: one room could feature Cinderella, accompanied by her co-stars (Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother, Suzy & Perla, Jaq & Gus-Gus, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drizella), another featuring Aurora (accompanied by Prince Phillip, Flora, Fauna, Merryweather and Maleficent), another for Tiana (accompanied by Naveen, Louis and Dr. Facilier), etc.

Hope they do it that way. After all, they did say that they're trying to make the FLE appeal to both males and females, including bringing out male characters and villains, in addition to the princesses, so offering some variety would not hurt. Please take all this into consideration, WDI.

I haven't looked too far into it, mostly because I have absolutely no interest in any M&G if any kind.:hurl:

But, I am under the impression that it will house several princesses, and work kinda like the M&G at Epcot. You wait in one line and meet all the available princesses in turn, assembly line style.
Plans I have appear to show two standby queues and a Fastpass. (or maybe one standby, one Fastpass and one handicap.). Part outdoor, part in.

Toontown had multiple princess rooms. I haven't visited the gals in Town Square Theater yet, so I don't know if there are multiple rooms there.

So a New Orleans based restaurant inside the fortress walls of a medieval castle?

Lets not.

From my understanding there will only be two m&g's inside the former SWSA venue. Likely Cindy and SB.

Behind that castle is also Pooh, Spinning tea cups, and a boat ride of singing cultural dolls, and a New Orleans resturant ran by a princess throws off the "Fantasy" theme?

I agree with you in many respects. Those are inconsistancies that could be fixed over time. That is why I don't mind that they removed 20K. It just did not fit the overall theme of the MK's FL. And there are so many areas where Tiana's restaurant and/or attraction would be a great fit. We have discussed it extensively on these boards.

Hmmm, I just thought of another possibilty! But I can't post it here for fear of being right and spoiling any suprise the mouse may have planned.

Interesting times to say the least. :)

Why do you do that?
Armchair Imagineering is not rumors, news, or insider info.

Hmm let's see.

I thought of:
-time travel
-cure for cancer
-Ipads (10 years ago)
-Jimmy Hoffa's location
-Bigfoot's location
-Loch Ness Monster's location

But I don't want to say anything for the fear that I'm right and spoiling any surprise. :brick::brick::brick:

There is an important distinction between "armchair imaginnering" and predicting what they might actually do. One is what I would do if I was involved in deveoping ideas and the other is what they will actually do.

Someone who would know voiced concern that if we post ideas here and get too close to the truth it could derail or hinder a project because of stuff about intellectual property. So I have tried to back off a bit for that reason. I only post ideas of stuff that is years away in development if at all. If I thought I could post my ideas and also my predictions (right or wrong) of what they will do without causing problems for Imagineering or others then I would be doing that all the time. I can take the criticism when I get it wrong. I hope that clears it up for you.

Which is of course why people such as Juan, Lee, Tirian, Raven and others post what they know all of the time. Because of "intellectual property" concerns on a WDW rumor board? Spare us the self-sacrificing sanctimony. You've pulled the same "I know but I'd better not say" line far too many times for it to be considered believable any more. Others are not reluctant to say what they know (even if it's still at the rumor stage), including the owner of this site. Your incessant rumor-mongering does not impact the decision-making process of the Imagineers any more than mine would.

A person who worked in Imagineering said otherwise so I think that trumps you feelings on the subject.

Also, Disney goes to great lengths to keep news from leaking for a reason. That is why I continually state that I have no insider connections or information. That others deal in such information is their decision.

And I am not getting drawn into a flame war so you guys need to give that up. I plan to be here when the announcments reveal the future for WDW. And I plan to use this smiley :sohappy: .......... a lot.

Of course, which is why news and rumors at this site and others continues to flourish as it does.

And if you have no insider information, why would your predictions and AI posts be a threat to intellectual property concerns of Disney? Nothing but coincidence there as far as they should be concerned, should any of your AI posts come to fruition.

And I'm glad you'll be excited and happy about future announcements; I truly am. But if you're not going to put out there what you think will come in the future, don't use some sanctimonious excuse as the reason.

Nothing says I can't post my ideas after the fact and I look forward to doing so. Even if my ideas are similar to what gets announced there would still be differences. So I will share what I would have done and what I had thought they were going to do. And practicing revisionism does nothing for me so you will get my honest opinion. Don't sweat the minor stuff. I just enjoy these discussions about WDW.

Post them before; you have nothing to lose save for the possibility you may be off. Anyone can say "That was my idea as well." after the fact.....

The current restroom area near Peter Pan will be used for an expansion of the queue. The new restrooms will be located across the walkway and theamed to Tangled. That's it for now.

I don't lie to myself or others and whether you believe that or not is meaningless. I have clearly stated why I am not going to post my thoughts and believe me it is difficult not to do so.

I once PM'd Steve during a similar exchange because I knew he could be trusted and he shot the idea down and I let it go. I also got the feeling he would rather I not do that.

Anyway, I thought that as part of the reworking of the Safari ride and adding the seperate ticket feature at DAK that they might have secure "stations" similar to the one behind AKL but with more offerings and different themes. Sort of a combination of the ride and the walking trails which could only be acessed by some vehicles which would have a hop on/hop off function. They would be accessed by a seperate (and slower moving) queue since many would choose the traditional ride. I was wrong about that and the two options (paid vs unpaid) are entirely seperate.

OK, I think we have exhausted this conversation. Adios.

Most excellent. Some thought PatF and I don't think that would be the best choice for that particular area.

Tangled makes perfect sense. It is amazing how much people are looking forward to this new area. I think we have all had to suffer that bottleneck on a hot day.

Again with the discrimination, eh?

Remarks like that only serve to hurt your credibility.
No discrimination. I simply have no use for character M&Gs. Others do. Fine.
Due to my lack of interest, I don't seek out information about them.

As for my credibility...it is intact.:D

Nah...intellectual property isn't an issue.
By the time you would ever post what you think they are doing, the actual project is several years along in development and would obviously have not been influenced in any way by whatever you might post on a message board. That's a bogus concern, no matter who raises it.

Speculation or predictions about what is happening is perfectly safe and legal, and poses no threat to anyone other than the poster who runs the risk of (GASP!) being wrong.
Posting predictions after the fact, easily gaurantees a 100% accuracy rate.

This might be a stupid question. How do you theme a bathroom after Rapunzel? Are you going into the tower? Is there going to be a town square like in DL? I just don't see any notable buildings or landmarks to theme them after besides the tower.

You don't, really.
You give it a look reminiscent of the time period of the film and place it near a forced perspective tower. Simple as that.
