You can still rent them at the Poly, Contemporary or Grand Floridian. You don't need to be staying there and I think it's really cool to take them out over Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon for 30 or 60 mins.

great thanks will look into it we are going to go check different resorts out on our free day maybe try and do it when we go see poly.

Not the same as having a rental you drive yourself but you can take the boat over to Disney Springs and they do private Amphicar tours from the Boathouse that look like they'd be a lot of fun!
