Not that I'm complaining but I noticed that Pop Century has the lowest rate in mid May ($97.50 avg/night). Even All Star Sport is slightly higher. Since I'm being as budget conscious as possible, I went with Pop Century. Just wondering.
I've had that happen a couple times. I usually call Dis directly to book my rooms and twice when I did they said that a AS resort was cheapest when I found POP to be less. Each time the CM was surprised as well.
When you compare full price, rack rates the All stars will be the cheapest per night. Pop comes in about $5-$10 per night higher than the all stars and The Little Mermaid rooms at AoA come in about $5-$10 higher than Pop.
Promotions however can throw a monkey wrench into this.
As mentioned before, promotions are based on availability. If a resort is not meeting its booking numbers, the rooms get discounted. Because All Stars is the least expensive and AoA is so popular you will on occasion find an instance where Pop it under-booked and promotions make in come in less expensive. It does not happen often, but it is often enough to where you always check.
