polynesian resort transportation and room request?

I know that the TTC has the express monorail that is supposed to go straight to MK. We just booked a standard room and I'm not trying to get any special upgrades but If the express monorail is much faster I would prefer to stay at the rapa nui, or the tahiti. How would I go about asking for this?

Both Rapa Nui and Tahiti are closed. They are being refurbished into DVC units.

The resort monorail to the MK only has one stop (at the Grand Floridian) between the Poly and MK. It is a quick ride and far less crowded than the express monorail from the TCC. Also, if you want to attend morning EMH at the MK you need to ride the resort line as the express won't be operating.

There is also a boat from the Poly to the MK.

The Poly is a very small resort and you can walk anywhere (transportation, food, pool) in 5 minutes or less. If you want a standard room that is centrally located, request Rarotonga.

You can also take the resort launch. It goes directly from the Poly to MK and is about a 5 minute ride. It is also a 3-5 minute walk from anywhere on the ground. It is the way we almost always take.

No. Both have short waits. There are always 2 monorails on the resort line at a time and usually 2 boats (boat shares with Grand Floridian. )
