I vote for the Carousel of Progress. It's 40 years old and needs help, and it's Walt's most beloved attraction.

Though I personally feel it would do far better at Epcot somewheres in Future World, in regaurds to the Tomorrowland theory by Grizz...

As much as I had this nostalgic love for the old tomorrowland of wdw, I really do think that as much rage and hatred there is for disneyland california's 1998 tomorrowland, they will rehab it to give it it's more classic and retro tomorrowland of the 1950s and 1960s.

Now I don't mind WDW current tomorrowland. After all WDW's old tomorrowland was always very plain, and "white", compared to disneyland's very intricate old tomorrowland that many many many people want back, so i can live with the current WDW jules verne look.

But the problem with WDW's tomorrowland is that it is like only 1/4 new tomorrowland. Everything else is old tomorrowland with a slight color scheme change. So I am all for redoing the outside of the carousel of progress pavilion if it stays in tomorrowland, and redoing the tomorrowland terrace, and speedway, but I would want to save a few nostalgic tomorrowland pieces, like an untocuhed portion of the old WEDway peoplemover track near an untouched space mountain and skyway station. T

hey can upgrade technology wise space mountain, but please retain the classic 70s decor and feel of space mountain. WDW had the original space mountain and first fully enclosed rollercoaster that is something that is historic and nostaglic and should not be made into some paris disneyland space mountain or rockin roller coaster. As long as they can make the track smooth, etc, the decor should not drastically effect someone's experience when actually riding space mountain.

OK and back to the carousel of progress topic...if it stays in tomorrowland, for the ride itseld, we need a new theater, new theater decor, etc, new lighting, new sound, a brand new orchestral and band with chorus version of "there's a great big beautiful tomorrow", bring back the kaleidophonic screen, add some new curtains, etc.

This ride needs the beauty and grandure of an old timeless theater, and the luster it once had back in the 60s. They should redue the sets and allow them and the theater to be presented in a clockwise motion just like it used to. They need to find new narrators, similar to the original 1964 cast, 1900, 1920, 1940 will be very easy to restore back to their original world's fair decor and presentation, of course with new AA's that physical not mechanically look like the original 1964 AA's.

They need to bring back christmas 1960, the way the show orginally ended, and a sign or new narration in the pre show would help explain why the shwo ends in the 60s on purpous. I'd say make a second floor, bring back the EPCOT city model, and give us a great post show for our future, but then again this would do better at EPCOT Center/Epcot, because tomorrowland now is themed as the way tomorrow once was or never truly became, thus this is why a 1970s space mountain, and the carousel of progress ending once again in 1960 would tie in.

My vote goes to, drumroll please...

Haunted Mansion!!! My reasons are that I would update most if not all of the AA's because they are in dire need of some TLC! Also, the sound system on that ride deserves to be state of the art! I've too many ride vehicles without sound!

As much as I want all of those other rides to get rehabs too, Haunted Mansion is too near and dear to my heart for me to pass it up. :D

None of the above... I prefer another one...

I vote for COP too. It's my favorite attraction (because of it's past--I mean, wow, it's been everywhere!), and I got to see it this past spring for the first time in about five years. It broke my heart to see the theatre in such terrible shape and to have trouble hearing the audio. It bothered me even more to see the strange looks from passers-by as we waited for the next show to load...apparently, very few first-timers realize that it's actually a working ride. I say, at the very least, spruce up the theatre, add a new audio system, and give it a nicer sign. Let people know that COP is there, that it's open, and that it's an important part of Disney history.

Oh, and CBJ makes my top five list any day of the week.

I totally agree with you then, the Magic Kingdom does need an attraction for the big boys and girls to ride. A possible place for a new thrill ride to be built is in the vacant 20K Leagues Under the Sea Lagoon area, and there are rumors of Indiana Jones Adventure maybe coming to Adventureland.

I am a big boy (well 22),,and I still enjoy Magic Kingdom as my favorite park!!

As for the Country Bears topic, I still think it's a great attraction, and my friend's seem like I tourture them by bringing them in there. One thing i learned from my last trip is that we judge these rides as adults. One attraction at WDW that I have zero desire to do is Playhouse Disney. I think it is a waste of space. While waiting for a monorail, i overheard a mom saying that Playhouse made her child's vacation. I would never have thought such a thing. Next time you're in Country Bears, take a look around and see just how happy it makes kids. I should have known better,,i loved it as a child!!!

I think PoTC would benefit most from a rehab. The other attractions listed could probably use a sprucing up as well, but I think the AAs could be much better on Pirates and greatly enhance the experience. I love that ride .. the ambience, the pace, the overall presentation - Disney at it's best.

Playhouse Disney is totally for kids. It is great to watch your kid enjoy it so much. That being said, I would not do it without a kid (but that could just be me).

i really don't like judging "which is the most..." or "which is the least..." type of things, but I will say that I would like to see POTC get some kind of rehab to perhaps incorporate parts of the movie and to make it a more "splash mountain" type ride. Hey, remember the Mario Lopez cameo shorts on the screen while waiting on the space mountain line (not sure if they still do that)? I recommend that they get Screech or something, or maybe even the whole gang of Saved by the Bell to do those things. That would be sweet...or maybe I just miss that show way too much. Actually I would like to see some guys from Boy Meets World do that, like Mr. Feeney or something. Wow, I am so way off topic.

Can someone explain what's wrong with the pirate AAs because they looked decent me, old sure, but still good. I love the guy in the jail cell who whistles to the dog, very cool.

This ride in my estimation, minus certain portions does not need an immediate rehab like other attractions do. HM, COP in particular, COP needing it the most for a wide variety of reasons. And how about rehab Test Track so it doesn't break down every couple of hours. I waited in line 4 times and rode it 3 times.

Definitely PoTC. Everyone is right about the jerky motions of the pirates. There is much that can be improved a bit without impacting the charm or overall presentation.

Even though it is not at all likely, I would love to see them extend it to be more like the DL version. I love that the DL version starts in a Louisiana bayou, but, of course, that theming doesn't fit WDW. However, the lengthier scenes leading to the initial attack scene, like the large treasure caves and the more complete ending, would be awesome.

Perhaps some new theming for the line area would work, too. Maybe some special effects in those little pirate cells or something.
