We are heading down in late May...I heard someone say that the boat service to DTD, or Disney springs is not running due to construction? Is that true?
Would be a major bummer!

Only if you're staying at the resorttake advantage of it to go to the pool at Riverside
I believe official policy does allow POR and POFQ guests to use facilities at either. When I was there they were considered one resort and as such you could use amenities at either.
Only if you're staying at the resort
OP didn't state where they're staying - hence my post. Nice to learn that there is some pool hopping allowedActually since its both port Orleans they are sister resorts- you can swim at either. Big perk![]()
Don't drink too many of those Margarites ... on your return trip to your resort ... you might get "sea sick" ...Great, I'm thinking a boat ride may be in order for a trip to the Dockside Margaritas and sample the Boathouse!
Actually excited about Disney Springs!
We've learned not to look upAbout to stay at POFQ for the first time in a few weeks, though I've visited and walked the grounds a number of times while staying in Riverside. Personally the only thing that is a minus for me is that the FQ food court creeps me out a bit with all the parade float masks and statues hanging overhead...

I remember my Mom trying to explain (a sanitized version of) Mardi Gras to me as a child while I was eating Mickey Waffles.
