We are heading down in late May...I heard someone say that the boat service to DTD, or Disney springs is not running due to construction? Is that true?

Would be a major bummer!

Was there a couple of weeks ago...really impressed with how it's coming along. Very nice! Missed the opening of DM :(. Will have to hit them up this fall! image.jpg

You will like the boat service. The boats are much smaller than the ferries or friendship boats and the scenery is great. Last time when we got bored at downtown disney we rode it just for fun. It goes to Riverside from there as well so be sure to take advantage of it to go to the pool at Riverside or have breakfast there, or just walk around.

We're are staying at POFQ for the first time, though our heart is actually at POR. I really do hope all the positives for POFQ are correct.

About to stay at POFQ for the first time in a few weeks, though I've visited and walked the grounds a number of times while staying in Riverside. Personally the only thing that is a minus for me is that the FQ food court creeps me out a bit with all the parade float masks and statues hanging overhead...

I remember my Mom trying to explain (a sanitized version of) Mardi Gras to me as a child while I was eating Mickey Waffles. Those were the days.

Don't drink too many of those Margarites ... on your return trip to your resort ... you might get "sea sick" ... :grumpy: LOL
Haha true!!! Luckily we will not be in any huge hurry the next morning.

That's one thing I've learned over the years...just don't rush it and enjoy the trip!! You can't do it all in one go around...so don't try!
