There was a brilliant parody of Pixar last night on the Simpsons episode "Angry Dad The Movie". John Lasseter and Randy Newman appeared as 2D caricatures, which were pretty funny (Lasseter doesn't like competition, it seems, and neither does Luxo or Wall*E  ), but the really great part was when Bart and family went to the Oscars and clips from the various nominated animated shorts were shown. Whoever animates The Simpsons did an incredible job matching the animation styles of not only Pixar, but Wallace and Gromit. They looked amazingly authentic. Here's the link to the episode on Hulu:

The "Mixar" short was entitled "Condiments". My favorite part was when the waffle jumped into the waffle iron and told the other characters, "Wake me up for the syrupy ending!" :ROFLOL:

Enjoy!

You're right, that was one of the most brilliant episodes of the Simpsons I've ever seen! The list Homer read while at the Watts Towers was the BEST. Seeing "Keys On Van Nuys" and "Cerritos Auto Square" were some of the best insider jokes for anyone in LA I've ever seen hahahahaha!!!!

Award Polish from Pixar was classic, as was the Ricky Gervais character!

I wonder if that was Aardman who did the Wallace and Grommit?

Thanks for posting the link!
