Does anyone know if Disney is going to have the P&P Party again this year and if so what are the dates? Thanks

The dates have not been released yet for 2009, they are not doing away with the Pirate & Princess Parties.
Check here for updates on dates. You'll see on the bottom right, it says "Next Party Date - Check back for dates in 2009!"

Dates most likely won't be released until after Halloween.

The dates are usually released when the MNSSHP is over with. So we have a few more weeks to wait. 
I'm anxious to find them out as well - I also thought that this would be a post with the dates! ha ha

They are doing at least one P&P in 2009. There will be one in March during the same weekend as the Princess Marathon.

Okay, well, I wouldn't expect many more. Management wasn't happy with the turnout last year. Honestly there were more Cast Members than guests sometimes.

Where did you get this info? I am planning on going next year for sure - i just didn't get a chance to go last year b/c we had plans to go to the MNSSHP.

It's the talk around the park, and just from personal experience. The party turnouts were not good at all last year, and the majority of CMs that worked them were sent home early.

Hence why my location calls it the "Pirate and Princess theamed Cast Member Social." It's always been REALLY fun, espically for the fireworks! (And social conversations with other CM's).

Oh yea, I loved working the PP. It was pretty much hanging out with my friends. And the fireworks were the best ever.

I always like working it just as much as attending it. Of coarse now I no longer get to work it....unless it moves over to DHS.

I love the P&P. It's my favorite of the 3 parties. I really hope they have some in May again.

I just assumed since the link said "Check back for 2009 dates" that they weren't doing away with them. I haven't heard anything from anyone other than that. I've never been to one - I was hoping to check it out next year.

I noticed several dates including some fridays that MK is closing @ 7pm. Could these be possible PPP dates? I did not chose to go when I was there in 2007 I have kicked myself every since.:hammer:

I don't know. There is definitely going to be 1 P&P in March (it goes with that new Marathon).

Well I'm hoping for 1 the week we go at the end of January. I'd love to take the kids. Hubby and I went last May and there were plenty of folks there without it being overly crowded like MVMCP was in 2007. The fireworks were incredible. Love the event.
