pick one show on Disney Wonder for adults

Do you mean one of the adult entertainment shows later in the evening? Or do you mean which of the big production shows in the Walt Disney Theater is the best one for adults?

If it is the first, those change according to which acts they have on board. On my recent cruise I really enjoyed Lynn Trefzger and John Charles. They did an evening show as well as an adult show on another day. Also, with regard to adult entertainment, Match Your Mate is not to be missed in my opinion!

If you are talking about the big productions, I think Disney Dreams is the best one. Even though the story is about a girl growing up, I thought it had the best production value. The Golden Mickeys are rather nice, too. But I think the story around the Golden Mickeys is far weaker than Dreams. Skip Toy Story the Musical.

I was talking about the big shows. So you feel Disney Dreams. Anyone else have thoughts?

Golden Mickeys is my favorite show on any of the four ships. There's no real story, but it used to feature Roy Disney and Angela Lansbury, so it had a special place in my heart. The new show is not quite as good, but certain parts of that show just make me so happy. Plus Tim Allen is hysterical. (Of course, a good tool belt never hurts. Unless it's too tight or too low. . .)

Dreams can be great. "Prince Ali" and "Circle of Life", especially, are amazing numbers. The problem is that the lead female is a young girl played by an adult woman. Sometimes, in trying to sound like a young girl, the actress affects an annoying voice. If you get a good Ann Marie (the lead character), it's a great show. If you get the "annoying voice" Ann Marie, it's really hard for me to enjoy the show.

Actually, just find a good seat. They'll bring the beer to him. :)

I think the same problem with Ann Marie also can happen with Ensign ... (forgot what her name is). While it is not a woman playing a girl, a lot of the Golden Mickey depends on this one role. I guess I have been lucky and only had good Ann Maries so far.

While I prefer Dreams, I think the Golden Mickeys are maybe better for an adult who is not that much into Disney. Also, it would be on your dress up night and there is a red carpet arrival including red carpet interviews. So it is the more all around show experience. Be there 15 minutes early, order a drink from the roaming servers and watch the red carpet interviews broadcasted into the theater.

I would choose the Golden Mickeys. While all shows are amazing, the Golden Mickey's are a cruise ship classic that should be experienced. Plus, as someone above mentioned it is on dress up night, which adds to the ambiance of being at the theater.
